Learning at it's best: Experience a different culture and lifestyle

You will stay with a local family in the small rural village Javillos de San Carlos in the northern region of Costa Rica. Here you will be able to experience a different culture and lifestyle as you get to know your host family and village life.

 Learn Spanish:

The children will learn Spanish while exploring the beautiful natural setting of the school with its animals and tropical plants at the edge of a small river. The teachers have experience working with children of all ages.

Learn about the environment and make a difference:

Your family will learn about the animals and plants of the rainforest as well as environmental issues and concerns. The children will have the opportunity to participate in different volunteer activities such as:

•  help at the Wild Animal Rescue Center

•  visit with the rangers of the Children's Eternal Rainforest

•  plant seeds for a reforestation project

•  and much more.
