Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center

Wild Animal Rescue Center in La Fortuna,
Arenal Volcano Area, Costa Rica

In this wild animal rescue center a special emphasis has given to the commitment that human beings have towards wildlife.

Why a Rescue Center ?

Releasing a Jaguarundi - Asis Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center, tours and volunteer programs

Costa Rica is known for its great diversity of plants and animals, however, human development and the accompanying destruction of natural habitat, not to mention illegal hunting, have led to a precipitous decline in wildlife populations, causing many species to be in danger of extinction.

We believe by doing our part in helping injured wild animals and educating the public on the struggle of these animals, we will be helping to restore the balance between man and nature.
